Elgato has released its new Cam Link Pro PCIe capture card and video mixer that allows users to plug in four HDMI output devices at the same time for multicam or multisource setups for streaming and video production. Users can plug in up to four devices such as DSLR cameras, action cameras, mobile devices, laptops, tablets, and more to stream or record up to 4K30 or 1080p60 video on their desktop PCs.
The Cam Link Pro features onboard video mixing via the company’s Multiview technology, which allows users to combine and layout the device’s four HDMI feed into a single source with different layouts such as Picture in Picture, Side by Side, Triple, and Quad. Users can also receive each feed independently so the four HDMI inputs will show up as separate devices in applications such as OBS Studio, vMIX, Zoom, Slack, and Microsoft Teams, and other encoding software.
The Cam Link Pro also integrates with the company’s Stream Deck to turn it into a live camera switcher to switch cameras, change Multiview layouts, and more.
The Elgato Cam Link Pro is already available through the company’s network of authorized retailer at an SRP of $359.99 and is backed by the company’s two-year warranty.
