SanDisk has launched a duo of new USB drives into the Philippine market – the SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.0 Flash Drive and the SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive.
Extreme PRO USB3.0 Flash Drive
The SanDisk Extreme PRO is a USB 3.0 Flash Drive with a large storage capacity of 128GB. The drive uses an aluminum metal casing and, according to SanDisk, is capable of write speeds of up to 240MB/s and read speeds of 260MB/s.
“The SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.0 drive offers world-class performance for technology fanatics who demand high-speed, durability and peace of mind that their files will be safe,” said Candy Gao, Country Manager, Hong Kong and Philippines, SanDisk. “We are excited to expand our USB 3.0 solutions and this is another example of our continuing effort to allow our consumers to get fast access to content and data.”
The SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.0 Flash Drive comes with the company’s SanDisk SecureAccess 128-bit AES file encryption and password protection software.
The drive should already be showing up on store shelves at an SRP of Php13,500 with a lifetime limited warranty.
Ultra Dual USB Drive
SanDisk has also launched the uniquely designed Ultra Dual USB drive which features both a micro-USB and a USB 2.0 connector. The Ultra Dual’s design enables users to easily transfer files from an Android smartphone or tablet to a PC and vice-versa. The SanDisk Ultra Dual is compatible with Android-powered smartphones and tablets that support USB on-the-go (OTG). The new device also features retractable covers for worry-free connector protection.
Along with the Ultra Dual, Sandisk has also released its Memory Zone app for Android that helps users organize their files on both the smartphone or tablet’s internal and external storage.

The SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive is now available for an SRP of Php980 for the 16GB version, Php1,600 for the 32GB version, and Php2,980 for the 64GB version.
