More information on the return of Rakion, the action RPG from Neosonyx/Softnyx, was unveiled by PlayPark at the recently concluded PGDX (Philippine GameDev Expo) 2024. The company previously teased the comeback of the popular online action game last June when it announced its new partnership with Neosonyx/Softnyx. Pre-registrations for the game have also since been opened.
During a press conference at PGDX 2024, PlayPark announced that the game will launch sometime in October 2024 and will be available in Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
Until then, players can expect several community activities including iCafe collaborations in Manila, Cavite, Bicol, Cebu, Samar and Leyte, Cagayan De Oro, and Davao, as well as an in-store collaboration with PC Express, where fans can get in-game item vouchers by scanning special QR codes at PC Express branches.
PlayPark will also be hosting Grand Community Gatherings around the country with its partners PC Express, ASUS, and NVIDIA.
