Nokia has recently launched their new line of smartphone in the Philippines, which include the Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 1, new Nokia 6, and the Nokia 8110 4G. The new devices were originally unveiled at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year.

The Nokia 7 Plus is the company’s latest flagship. It features a 6-inch full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) 18:9 IPS display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, expandable storage support via microSD up to 256GB, and a 3800mAh battery. It’s also equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with ZEISS optics and a dual camera system composed of a 12-megapixel f/1.75 sensor coupled with a 13-megapixel f/2.6 sensor, both with ZEISS optics. The Nokia 7 Plus will be available in both Black/Copper and White/Copper color options.
Under the Nokia 7 Plus is the company’s latest mid-range smartphone, the new Nokia 6, which features a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, up to 4GB of RAM, up to 64GB of internal storage, expandable storage support via microSD up to 128GB, and a 3000mAh battery. It also comes with a 16-megapixel f/2.0 rear camera with ZEISS optics and an LED flash, an 8-megapixel f/2.0 front-facing camera, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio port, and LTE connectivity. While the specific variant the company plans to release here has yet to be officially announced, the Nokia 6 comes in Black/Copper, White/Iron, and Blue/Gold color options.
The company’s latest entry-level smartphone, the Nokia 1, features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display, a MediaTek MT6737M 1.1GHz quad-core display, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2150mAh battery. It also comes with 4G LTE connectivity, an FM radio, 3.5mm audio port, and a microUSB 2.0 port. The Nokia 1 comes in Warm Red and Dark Blue color options but the Xpress-on back cover can be easily exchanged for one of many soon-to-be-available designs.
The other budget phone that Nokia will also be releasing in the Philippines is their latest feature phone, the 8110 4G, which features a curved body and sliding cover for the keypad. It’s equipped with a 2.4-inch QVGA screen, a MediaTek MSM8905 dual-core 1.1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, expandable storage support via microSD up to 32GB, a 2-megapixel rear camera, and a 1500mAh battery. Like the Nokia 1, it’s also equipped with an FM radio, 3.5mm audio port, and a microUSB 2.0 port. The Nokia 8110 4G will be available in black and yellow color options.
Pricing and Availability
The Nokia 7 Plus will be available starting April 27 for an SRP of PHP21,990.00 while the Nokia 1 is now available for only PHP4,290.00. Lastly, the new Nokia 6 and Nokia 8110 4G will be coming to the Philippines in May 2018.
