Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new Tales of Arise developer video which shares more information on the upcoming game’s battle system as well as the development of its characters. The latest entry in the Tales series is set for release on September 9, 2021, for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and September 10, 2021, for PC via Steam.
In the new developer video, Tales of Arise Project Director Hirokazu Kagawa talks about the development of the new game’s battle system as well as some of its new features. Art Director Minoru Iwamoto also discusses the techniques the studio has utilized such as facial and motion capture to make the expressions and personalities of the game’s character more detailed.
Along with the release of the new developer video, Bandai Namco Entertainment also announced that those preorder the Tales of Arise Standard Edition from the Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia Store from July 1 to 15, 2021, will get the chance to receive a free upgrade to the game’s Hootle Edition.
Tales of Arise is scheduled for release on September 9, 2021, for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and September 10, 2021, for PC via Steam.
