MSI has announced its new lineup of motherboards featuring AMD’s recently announced A520 chipset, targeted at those on a budget and looking to partner the motherboard with either a 3rd generation Ryzen 3 or Ryzen 3 Pro processor.
MSI has announced four A520 motherboards including the MAG A520M Vector WiFi, the A520M Pro, the A520M-A Pro, and A520M Pro-C Dash. All of the new A520 motherboards feature MSI’s DDR4 Boost and A-XMP technology which allows RAM speeds to be pushed up to 4600MHz. All the new boards also feature 2oz thickened copper PCBs for additional stability.
The MAG A520M VectorW WiFi is the company’s gamer-centric A520 motherboard and features MSI’s extended heatsink design, turbo M.2 with M.2 Shield Frozr, support for WiFi AC 3168 and gigabit LAN. It’s also equipped with both a DisplayPort and HDMI port to work with AMD’s latest Ryzen 4000 G-series APUs.
As for the three MSI A520 Pro motherboards, they support Turbo M.2 Gen3 x4 and 4K HDMI display output. Specifically, the A520M Pro-C Dash also features a COM port, Printer port, and DASH LAN.
More information on the new MSI A520 motherboards can be found on the official website. The company has yet to announced the prices for the new line of motherboards but we should hear more in the coming weeks.
