The release date of Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy has been announced by publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment. The spin-off built on Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2, will be released for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in three parts, with the first coming out on November 5, 2021.
Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy is set in North America during the “One Year War” of Universal Century 0079 and tells the story of the “Noisy Fairy,” a secret Zeon unit under the direct control of Kycilia Zabi. Players will take on the role of the unit’s leader Alma as she leads her squad in their attempt to break through into the continent of North America.
The game will be released in three volumes. The first will be available on November 5, the second will be released on November 19, and the final volume will be out on December 3, 2021. All three volumes will be included in both the game’s Standard and Deluxe edition, although each volume will also be available for purchase separately.
As previously mentioned, the gameplay of Code Fairy is based on Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 free-to-play online multiplayer game but will be a story-driven, single-player title. The two games will feature two-way bonuses for people who play both. Those who play Code Fairy will unlock rewards in Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2, while those who play the latter will unlock new missions in the former.
Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy is scheduled for release on the PS4 and PS5 on November 5, 2021.
