The Logitech G502 Proteus Core was one of the company’s most popular mice with its great design, features, and performance. The company then added RGB lighting to it with the G502 Proteus Spectrum and introduced its newest optical sensor with the G501 Hero. Now Logitech is once again taking the G502 to the next level with the unveiling of the G502 Lightspeed, the wireless evolution of one of its best mice.
The new G502 Lightspeed keeps the same design and feature set of the series, including the 11 programmable buttons, dual-mode scroll wheel, adjustable weight system, and its HERO (High Efficiency Rated Optical) 16K sensor, but introduces many of Logitech’s latest technologies and design innovations such as its Lightspeed and Powerplay technologies.
The company also utilized the same thin-wall design and endoskeleton chassis the company introduced with its G Pro Wireless gaming mouse that helped them to reduce the weight of the G502 Lightspeed by up to seven grams over its predecessors.
The Logitech G502 Lightspeed will be available on the Logitech G website as well as through global retailers sometime in May 2019 for an SRP of USD 149.99. You can check out the announcement video for the new mouse below:
