Motherboard manufacturer Biostar has officially announced the TA970 Plus, its latest motherboard for gaming and enthusiast PC builders. The TA970 Plus features an AMD 970 chipset as well as support for AMD’s Multi Core (x8, x6) and Socket AM3/AM3+ processors.
The TA970 Plus comes in a black PCB with a conventional full ATX form factor and design. It features four DIMM slots that support up to 64GB of RAM, an mSATA/Mini PCI-E Combo Connector, two PCI-E x16 2.0 slots for AMD CrossFireX configurations, and a couple of PCI-E x1 2.0 and PCI slots. It supports SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.0, and comes with AMD OverDrive with ACC (Advanced Clock Calibration) feature support. Lastly, the TA970 Plus comes with a slew of exclusive features including BIO-Remote II, Smart Speed LAN and PURO Hi-Fi technology.
Biostar did not release information on availability and pricing but the TA970 Plus should show up at Biostar retailers in the next few months. More information including full specifications on the TA970 Plus can be found on the Biostar website.
