Biostar has officially announced their GeForce GTX 950 graphics card to complete its line-up of NVIDIA’s Maxwell-based video cards.
The Biostar Gaming GeForce GTX 950, which features NVIDIA’s 2nd-generation MAxwell architecture, is targeted towards MOBA gamers, 1080p gaming, and budget builders with its high performance-per-watt versus other cards.
It features 2GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 6610MHz, an engine clock of 1026/1190MHz, a 128-bit memory bus, 768 CUDA processing cores, a low noise heat pipe cooling design, dual DVI/Display Port/HDMI output, and a PCI Express 3.0 x16 bus interface.
Like the rest of NVIDIA’s Maxwell-based video cards, the GeForce GTX 950 supports the company’s list of exclusive features such as GeForce Experience, Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR), Multi-Frame Super Sampling, native PhysX acceleration and other visual improvements in conjunction with DirectX 12.
The company did not announce specific release dates, availability information, or pricing on the Biostar Gaming GeForce GTX 950 but the new card should become available at select retailers fairly soon.
