ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced its new Falchion Ace HFX 65% analog wired gaming keyboard featuring ROG HFX magnetic key switches and a polling rate of 8000Hz.
The Falchion Ace HFX is a relatively compact 65% keyboard, measuring only 315mm in length. This makes it almost the same size as a 60% keyboard but retains both the arrow and navigation keys of a 65%. The interior of the keyboard is equipped with two PORON and three silicone pads to help reduce vibrations and noise.
The aforementioned ROG HFX magnetic key switches come pre-lubed and feature a POM plastic stem and bottom housing, a PC top housing, and a walled stem design. They are also rated for 100 million keypresses.
The switches also feature a customizable actuation range, allowing users to set the actuation point from 0.1 to 4.0mm to match their use case or preference. Adjustments can be made via the rear-mounted multifunction button, touch panel, or via ROG’s Armoury Crate or Armoury Crate Gear software. Some of the other features of the ROG HFX switches include Rapid Trigger technology as well as Speed Tap mode.
The Falchion Ace HFX is also equipped with two USB-C ports for connecting and switching between two devices, comes with two pairs of feet, and a protective cover that can also be used as a tray mount.
The ASUS ROG Falchion Ace HFX will be available in the Philippines sometime in October 2024. The company has yet to announce the SRP of the new peripheral.
