ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced that its ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM gaming monitor will be available in the Philippines in April 2025. The new monitor was announced by the company during CES 2025 last month and features a 27-inch 4K resolution OLED display, a first for a gaming monitor.
The ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM also features the company’s ROG QD-OLED, ROG OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0, and ROG OLED Care Pro technologies. The fourth generation ROG QD-OLED technology provides the monitor with a pixel density of 166ppi while the ROG OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 technology minimizes onscreen flicker during sudden refresh rate fluctuations, reducing it by up to 20%. It also comes with a Refresh Rate Cap feature, with three preset ranges, to help reduce flicker further.
Lastly, the OLED Care Pro technology includes a Neo Proximity Sensor that measures the user’s distance to the monitor using wavelength detection and will switch the display to a black screen when the user is away to protect from display burn-in. OLED Care Pro also has other features such as pixel cleaning, screen saver, and taskbar detection. The monitor’s settings, including its OLED Care Pro features, can be accessed via the ROG DisplayWidget Center.
Other features of the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM include a refresh rate of 270Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms response time. It’s also equipped with a four-lane DisplayPort 2.1a UBHR20, a HDMI 2.1 port, and a USB-C port with 90-watt power delivery. It also supports VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black, Dolby Vision, and HDR10.
The ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM will be available starting the first week of April 2025 and will be priced at around PHP 73,000 to PHP 75,000.
