ASUS has launched its new ROG Strix G15 laptop in the Philippines, which is powered by AMD’s latest Ryzen 6000 series CPUs and NVIDIA’s RTX 3070 Ti GPU. ASUS first announced the new laptop earlier this year at CES 2022.
“AMD’s partnership with ASUS is built on a shared passion for technology and innovation, we are thrilled be involved in the launch of the ASUS ROG Strix G range, powered by the latest AMD Ryzen™ 6000 Series processors,” said Dustin Beadle, Head of AMD Consumer for Asia-Pacific and Japan. “Built on AMD’s highly-efficient and extremely powerful ‘Zen 3+’ core architecture, combined with AMD RDNA2 on-chip graphics, AMD Ryzen 6000 Series processors were engineered to offer unmatched performance and efficiency for the optimal mobile gaming experience.”
Apart from its updated internals, the new ROG Strix G15 features a newly designed chassis as well as a new range of features, including a MUX Switch for its GPU that gives users the option to switch between maximum performance or improved battery life. It also features up to a 300Hz refresh rate Full HD (1920 x 1080) display, new 84-blade Arc Flow Fans, per-key RGB lighting via Aura Sync, Smart Amp speakers with Dolby Atmos, WiFi 6E connectivity, and a 90 WHr battery that supports Type-C fast charging.
The new ROG Strix G15 can be equipped with up to an AMD Ryzen 9 6980HZ CPU, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti (150W TGP), DDR5 RAM, and PCIe Gen 4×4 SSD storage. It is available in the Philippines in the following models:
