ASUS has launched its new Zenbook S 14 (UX5406), its latest and most advanced AI-powered laptop, in the Philippines. The new entry in the company’s long-running Zenbook series features an Intel core Ultra 7 Series 2) processor, Ceraluminum construction, and an array of AI-powered technology.
Zenbook S 14 (UX5406)
Just like its predecessor, the Zenbook S 14 (UX5406) features a sleek and lightweight design that measures only 1.1cm thin and weighs only around 1.2 kilograms. ASUS has made the new laptop with what it calls Ceraluminum, a new compound that combines ceramic and aluminum. The new material may have helped the company achieve the device’s thin body and light weight. The finish of the Zenbook S 14 comes in what ASUS calls Zumaia Gray, inspired by the cliffs in the north of Spain.
Powering the Zenbook S 14 is an Intel Core Ultra 7 (Series 2) processor that’s coupled with Intel Arc graphics, which features a TDP of 28W. According to ASUS, by utilizing its advanced CNC milling technology, it was able to integrate a ultra-slim vapor chamber that lets the device run under heavier workloads with minimal noise. The new laptop also comes with 32GB of RAM, 1TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, and a 72Wh battery, which is said to offer up to 27 hours of battery life.
As for the AI tech that the Zenbook S 14 comes with, it’s equipped with a dedicated Windows Copilot key for easy access to Microsoft’s AI assistant. There’s also the ASUS AiSense IR camera, which comes with facial recognition, Adaptive Lock, and Adaptive Dimming. The laptop’s security is powered by Microsoft Pluton processor, offering a dedicated data security solution via Windows passkeys.
The Zenbook S14 is also equipped with 14-inch 3K 120HZ ASUS Lumina OLED display, Harman Kardon-certified four-speaker system with Dolby Atmos, a 16:10 touchpad, WiFi 7 with ASUS WiFI Master Premium certification, and an array of I/O ports including a Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, HDMI 2.1, and a audio combo jack.
The ASUS Zenbook S 14 (UX5406) is now available at an SRP of PHP 109,995 at ASUS Accredited Stores nationwide.

Vivobook S 14 (S5406)
ASUS also launched the new Vivobook S14 (S5406), which is also powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and is equipped with a dedicated Copilot key, a 75Wh battery for up to 27 hours of battery life as well, an ErgoSense keyboard with customizable RGB lighting, an ErgoSense touchpad, WiFi 7, a 14-inch 16:10 3K 120Hz display, and a Harman Kardon-certified audio with Dolby Atmos.
The new Vivobook S 14 will be available sometime in November 2024.
